It was really cold last night. Bura is not exactly what you would hope for when carrying an 18 kg heavy cross, but last night bura was blowing until 5 am..
It was, of course, not about bura last night. Not for those, who decided to participate in the procession. There were many, who did. Some were walking through the night, other waiting in the churches praying, or staying in their homes praying and watching the processions pass their homes one after another.

Some were there to wait for the procession to return to Jelsa in the morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning and Toni Milatić, the Jelsa crossbearer ran those last few meters with the cross, as it is the custom in Jelsa. It is a very touching moment for many gathered at the square.
Congratulations to Toni Milatić and his family! Congratulations to all the other crossbearers!
