One of the popular tourist options on Hvar in recent years has been renting one of the colourful old Beetles which are prevalent on the island. A throwback to a different auto era, the open top, brightly coloured Beetles have been a huge hit with tourists since first appearing on the islnad a few years ago.
And when they all come out to play together…
A little additional dash of colour to the Jelsa waterfront earlier this summer, as luxury service providers Hvar Tours pulled off another of their large group specials, which included a Beetle invasion of Jelsa, with some rather impressive parking, as seen from the Total Hvar terrace.
The Beetle tour is one of a number of alternative tour options available, and one has to be impressed at the coordinated parking.
The group, which parked with special permission in front of the kindergarten and park, then stopped for refreshments before contininuing their tour.
