There is no doubting the benefit Zagreb felt from being voted Best Christmas Market in Europe for not one, but two years, and the capital’s winter tourism is the main seasonal attraction in Croatia. After a successful 2400 year birthday party, Stari Grad has been nominated as one of the candidates for European Best Destinations 2017 ‘Best Destination in Europe’ – won this year by Zadar.
