It is a festival which I have not been able to visit yet, something I hope to change this year, but nice to see that the Ethno Hvar Festival is once more taking place, and is now becoming established on the Hvar tourism calendar. Here is what we know so far – start date July 8:
The 3rd Ethno Hvar Festival in the beautiful ethno-village Humac brings together guests from various parts of the world, who will play for us as one band – Kaira Kela.
In co-operation with the Mediteranean Cinema (Kino Mediteran), we prepared a movie screening on Transition, which is the theme of this year’s festival.
The 1st issue of the magazine O. will be available for purchase at the festival and excellent food and home-made wine will be provided by the already well-known team of NK Vriisnik.
As usual, we organised a bus, which will leave the bus station in Jelsa at 20:00 and depart from Humac 15 minutes after the end of the concert, approximately at 00:30.
We invite all local producers (holders of the Croatian Island Products certificate) to get in touch to participate with their products during the event.
The event is organised by the Sustainable Island Association in cooperation with the Jelsa Tourist Board with the support of Island Movement Association!
