Stari Grad Best European Destination Nominee: 9. Sunrise

The countdown to final voting for the 2017 Best European Destination on February 10 continues, and we countinue our daily photo look at what makes Croatian nominee Stari Grad so special. 

Stari Grad sunsets are truly spectacular – and we will come to those another day – but if you choose the right spot, sunrises are pretty jaw-dropping too. 

A few years ago we sent Rafael Janic Photography up in a helicopter to take a few shots. This one will always be one of my favourite shots of the island of Hvar. 

Stari Grad is a beautiful historic town surrounded by outstanding and idyllic nature.
