It is warm enough to get around the island by bike these days. That is, if you get lucky and catch a rain-free moment, like we did on Sunday. Although there was a rather strong wind and the sun was hidden behind those heavy clouds, it was a pleasant bike ride from Jelsa to Vrboska.
So, what′s new in Vrboska? I wasn′t there for months now and I was particularly interested in the works on the little square, as some paving was announced after the season.
The square looks done and there are several other places in the city, which are currently undergoing a similar process. There is even a new big paved chess board ready – a great opportunity for the young chess talents of the island to show-off their skills in the upcoming summer.
Vrboska was very peaceful this last Sunday afternoon. We had the playground to ourselves and I am sure we will be back soon, as my little one just learned to ride her bike and would be biking all day long, if possible. Next destination – Soline. But, I will wait for a little sun for that one..
