Interesting news from the FORca Assoctiation:

“Dear all, driven by numerous inquires and complaints related to the lack of wireless internet on ferries and catamarans of Jadrolinija, Forca Association contacted the National ferry company in writing, asking about whether there is any current on planned activity related to the topic.

We are pleased to inform you, that we received a quick positive response. Apparently, Jadrolinija is currently putting much effort into enabling wireless internet on 4  lines and plans to equip 5 another ships including one for the Split-Stari Grad line.”

Honestly, I am not so thrilled by this. I choose to stay away from technology as much as I can, trying to have my child growing up without a screen in front of her face. It is not easy as the technology is slowly taking over our lives more and more.

And now on the ferry, 2 hours with Wi-Fi. More smart phones on, more computers on, less conversations, less interaction, less children playing. Well, I am not thrilled.
