Fishing

The cold depths of the Cetina River have sheltered a wealth of fish species. In particular, the brown trout (Salmo trutta m. fario) and the grayling (Thymallus thymallus) are targets for popular fly fishing (mušičarenje). The ″Cetina″ Sports Fishing Club, with over 450 members currently, has been responsible for fish stocking and preserving the cleanness and beauty of the Cetina River. If you’re interested in fly fishing, you can contact the club at +385 (0)91 201 3017.

Fishing enthusiasts can also enjoy fishing on Lake Peruča. The most common fish include carp, trout, pike and chub. Daily fishing licences are required for fishing, and the Šaran Fishing Club warmly welcomes all visitors.
