Oil from Brač will now also be available in Germany, Switzerland and Finland
Anuga Food Fair, one of the largest food and retail trade expos in the world taking place every two years in Cologne Germany, is known among the producers as one of the best places to present and advertise their products so it is no wonder Croatian food producers use it to promote their products. At this year’s edition, one of the most prominent Croatian stands was by the Brachia association, well known olive oil producers, already recognised globally for their award winning ceramic oil bottle design.
This is the first time Brachia exhibited at Anuga and their first organised appearance on the global market. Even though they are already present in the Netherlands, Sweden, Slovenia and Norway, this is a huge step forward towards presenting their high quality product to the global market, and considering the interest they have raised at the Anuga Food Fair, it seems that the world is more than interested in what they have to offer.
Not only were initial contacts made with numerous potential buyers and distributors, they’ve successfully concluded several lucrative deals and distribution contracts for Switzerland, Germany and Finland while samples of their world class olive oil are already being shipped to 80 different distributors across the globe.
This success mean a lot not only to the Brachia association but also to all olive growers and oil producers on the island Brač since these contracts guarantee that the placement of their products is secure for the next few years.
