Tportal reports that the renowned French guide to restaurants, Gault & Millau, included the a la carte restaurant Alfred Keller in the Boutique Hotel Alhambra in Lošinj, on its list of the best restaurants for 2017. Boutique Hotel Alhambra is part of the hotel group Lošinj Hotels & Villas.
Because of its rich offer, restaurant Alfred Keller in Boutique Hotel Alhambra provides only the highest delicacies and traditional foods such as olive oils, goat cheese, lamb, meats, and different kinds of fresh fish, shellfish and other delicacies from the Adriatic Sea.
This specialty restaurant offers dishes made with various cooking techniques, such as minimum heat treatment of certain foods, especially fish, lamb and venison, all in order to maintain the original quality of taste and thus achieve the perfect balance. Gault et Millau is an influential French restaurant guide. It was founded by two restaurant critics, Henri Gault and Christian Millau in 1965. Gault Millau rates restaurants across the globe on a scale of 1 to 20, with 20 being the highest rank. Restaurants below 10 points are almost never listed. The points are awarded based on the quality of the food, with comments about service, price or the atmosphere of the restaurant given separately.
In order to maintain a certain exclusivity, the Hotel Alhambra has only 51 rooms and suites. Despite this small size, there is a relaxation and beauty area, an indoor pool, and exclusive beach only for hotel guests.
