For the second year in a row, the gastronomic affair “World on a Plate” takes you on an unforgettable culinary journey around the world. From September 8-18 in Zagreb at the European market (Trg Europe), you can taste everything from local specialties to the flavors from America to Asia.
If you’re a fan of explosive flavors, rich cultures, and traditional homemade specialities from around the world, you’re in luck. Over the 11 days of “World on a Plate”, various exhibitors will offer up a range of grub from hearty American burgers to classic Italian pastas. For the Asian food lovers out there, you’ll be happy to find Japanese specialties like gyoza and many Sri Lankan delicacies, and will be able to discover the flavors from Russia to Paraguay and Colombia.
Some of the known exhibitors for the festival are Juice Box, Wok & Roll, Ginger Sushi, Royal India, Curry Bowl, and ChevapRolls.

In addition to rich gastronomic fare, an entertainment program is also included in the festival. Visitors of the festival will have the opportunity to celebrate the Chinese Mid Autumn Festival, jazz with the US, and maybe even learn Japanese martial arts.
