The Istria Gourmet Festival will be held on April 3, 2017 in Rovinj.
Stars will be arriving in Rovinj this April for the Istria Gourmet Festival. Organized by the Istria Tourist Board and in collaboration with the Maistra hotel company, this gourmet food festival aims to discover new world trends while further developing Istrian enogastronomy.
The festival this year will be held at Hotel Lone, Croatia’s first designer boutique hotel. The program boasts lectures and cooking shows by renowned Michelin Star chefs, and three themed gala dinners hosted at Hotel Monte Mulini, Hotel Adriatic, and Hotel Lone.
Lecturers and chefs this year include Emanuele Scarello, Giuseppe Mancino, Vincenzo Guarino, Oliver Glowig, Gaetano Torrente, Franco Favaretto, Lucio d’Orsi, Edoardo Ore, and Danijela Poljuha who will delve into topics that range from healthy eating and the paleo revolution to traditional Mediterranean cuisine and catering standards. The festival will also act as a platform to ensure attendees can socialize and exchange experiences amongst this famous crowd of gastronomers.
