Buddy Valastro, known as the “Cake Boss” and one of the best and most celebrated pastry chefs in the world, will visit Croatia on October 17.
The famous “Cake Boss” of the eponymous TV show on TLC, Buddy Valastro will participate in the selection of the most beautiful cake with Croatian motifs.
This is Buddy Valastro’s first visit to Croatia. In the United States, Buddy has successfully led a chain of cake shops named “Carlo’s Bakery”. Buddy began working at his family owned pastry shop at the age of 11, acting as the successor after his father’s passing, and today has created the now internationally known sweet empire. Buddy’s worldwide fame is thanks to the popular TLC TV series “Cake Boss”, which monitors the work of his team in a cake shop while following his family life. The new season of Buddy’s program actually premieres right after the Croatian event, on October 19.

The competition has three stages, and applications are still possible until October 9. To join the competition, participants must make a cake decorated with Croatian motifs, and take a photo or video of the project, all in accordance with the rules. The top 10 applications will compete publicly for the finals, and the winning cake will be declared by Buddy himself. The big event will be held on October 17 at 18h, taking place at City Center One West in Zagreb.
