The entire fishing community will gather at CROFISH International Fisheries Fair in Poreč.
The Association of Craftsmen Poreč is organising the 11th International Fair CROFISH will be held from 26-28 October 2017 in the Žatika sports hall in Poreč, reports Slobodna Dalmacija on October 12, 2017.
CROFISH Fishing and Fishing Equipment Fair in Poreč is the only event of its kind held in Croatia, whose goal is to bring together all fisheries and businesses operating in the field of mariculture and sports fishing from all over Croatia as well as other neighbouring countries in one place. This event highlights the international and inter-regional cooperation, which is very important for the development of marine fisheries and aquaculture.
During the fair, a series of accompanying events are planned, including public discussions, expert lectures, business meetings as well as various kinds of activities which aim to present and promote fishing products to public and tourists.
For the first time, all visitors can also expect a rich gastro show, where they will able to taste delicious fish products and see fish dishes prepared by renowned chefs, such as David Skoko.
This year, CROFISH fair will also feature the first international underwater fishing competition entitled Istrian Cup (Kup Istre) as well as a sailing regatta which will be held in Poreč waters on 28 October.
