As DuList reports on the 5th of September, 2017, after a well deserved break, the talented 2Cellos have an extremely exciting concert ahead of them!
Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser will perform tomorrow, 6th of September, 2017 at the prestigious Verona Arena, to mark the tenth anniversary of Lucius Pavarotti’s death. On September the 8th, they’ll follow with a performance at the famed Roman amphitheatre.
The event in Rome is a selfless, humanitarian one and both events will be broadcast on TV.
“Rested and fresh, we start with new concerts! We’re especially looking forward to [the performances] in Verona and Rome where we will play on the same stage that Domingo, Carreras, Zuccher, Ramazzotti, Il Volo, Elton John, Bocelli, Steven Tyler and many others [have played]. And then, we’re going on an American tour,” stated Stjepan Hauser, one half of the gifted duo.
While Luka and Stjepan enjoyed a restful summer off, a new, deluxe release of their praised album “Score” (Portrait/Sony Music Masterworks/Menart) was released, along with a CD including “Score … And More: Live at the Sydney Opera House”.
