Alternative Nature Festival Coming to Petrinja

A new kind of festival is coming to the region this year,  connecting Goa trance music with punk, rock, hip hop, ska.

Alternative Nature Festival (ANF) is the first festival of its kind in the region, merging unlikely music genres under the same roof. Composed of unique bands and strong regional names in the Goa trance scene, this event is punctuated by a variety of styles in an effort to attract different walks of life with the aim of exchanging experiences and making new friendships.

Goa trance is an electronic music style that originated during the late 1980s in Goa, India. Goa trance has often funky drone-like bass-lines, compared to techno minimalism of 21st century psytrance. More familiar genres at the festival will be ska, punk, singer songwriter, rock, and hip hop.

The lineup for the first edition of ANF is Gretta from Zagreb, Rollin Humes from Croatia, Lunar Dawn from Mošćenica, Sara Renar from Zagreb, The Babe Barbarella ESFF Band from Bihać, and Justin’s Johnson from Split.

Alternative Nature Festival will take place from July 15-17 at Kupa Mošćenica in Petrinja.
