Fans of electronic dance music will remember the unforgettable New Year’s party with the Dutch DJ.

Armin van Buuren gave it his best for Zagreb to have one of the best parties to ring in the new year. Fans of electronic dance music counted down the last 90 seconds of 2016 together with the Dutch DJ, who at midnight performed in Zagreb, and the year ended literally with a bang and fireworks at the Arena Zagreb hall, accompanied by music chosen from the stage by van Buuren, reports Večernji List on January 1, 2017.

“Zagreb, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you all a happy new year 2017”, said one of the world’s best DJ’s, followed by a volley of confetti from a special cannon located in the hall, which covered both the audience and dancers who did not stop dancing from the very beginning to the end of the first hour of the new year.

The whole evening was made even better with a series of brilliant performances by David Gravel, Julian Jordan, Sander van Doorn, but the culmination occurred with Armin van Buuren’s set. After his three-hour show, the party continued with MOTi and Juicy M, originally from Ukraine, who said that she had arrived to the Zagreb Arena hours before her performance. “You never celebrate new year in a room, especially not when you are in this kind of company. I have already performed at Ultra Europe in Split. Your audience is great, always gives a great vibe and is easy to perform in front of”, said Juicy M.

In the audience, there were many people from neighbouring countries such as Hungary and Slovenia, but also from Poland, the United States and many other countries. There is no doubt that this is a festival which Zagreb needed, and it is certain that the next edition would be even better. The New Year’s Eve 360 party, as it is officially called, is part of Croatia Winter Music Festival at the Arena Zagreb which will continue over the next several days with other DJs performing their sets.
