Sebastian Kurz is just one of many foreign politicians vacationing in Croatia.
Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz is spending his holidays at the Croatian coast. The Austrian media have published photos received from a reader which were shot on Sunday afternoon in a small town in Dalmatia, reports 24sata.hr on August 7, 2018.
Kurz has rented a house together with his partner Susanne Thier and several friends. The house is located right next to the sea. Among his party is Stefan Schnöll, Kurz’s close associate and head of the young section of the Austrian People’s Party.
“Kurt looked relaxed, and he jogged through the town,” said the reader who shot the photos.
It seems that Croatia is the favourite destination for Austrian politicians this year. According to media reports, Education Minister Heinz Faßmann is sailing somewhere on the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea, while Finance Minister Hartwig Löger is also in Croatia. Defence Minister Mario Kunasek is expected to spend the honeymoon with his wife Sabina in Croatia.
Austrians are not the only ones vacationing here. Slovenian President Borut Pahor will also spend his holidays in Croatia. Parents of his partner Tanja Pečar have a cottage at Sv. Ivan near Umag in Istria.
Slovakia will be represented by Interior Minister Denisa Sakova and Environmental Protection Minister Laszlo Solymos, while among the Czech politicians who will spend the summer days in Croatia is Petr Fiala, a former education minister.
