Bol Summer, a cultural and entertainment event being held for the 27th time, already kicked off in mid-June, but more excitingly July and August bring a series of exhibitions, classical concerts, workshops, local music and food, and theater performances for adults and children.
Every Monday evening at the Bol waterfront will host Bol summer nights, with local cuisine and local music artists. Every Tuesday will be a concert from the cycle of classical concerts from the church of the Dominican monastery. The theatre “Dva ferala” known as the stage under the stars, will host a theater for children including puppet shows and programs such as “Pinocchio”. There will also be exhibitions held in the gallery Doma kulture Bol, and in the art gallery Branislav Dešković which will have works by Vasko Lipovac exhibited.
At the end of July, singer Zrinka Posavec will perform, and in August performances by Petar Grašo and popular group Detour.
This summer program also has several vocal group concerts, with award-winning and famous Bol Klapa Braciera and Klapa Contra taking the stage, as well as members from the International Summer Music School Pučišća held in front of the parish church.
Bol Summer is able to exist by the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Bol, as well as several associations, Bol institutions, and partners.
