ZAGREB, June 17, 2018 – The 37th edition of Zagreb’s popular summer event Grič Evenings will be held from June 28 to July 17, and the first of nine musical treats to be staged at Grič, an attractive part of the capital’s historical Upper Town, will be a performance of Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” by the Ivan Goran Kovačić Academic Choir at Klovićevi Dvori Gallery.

The event is organised by Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, which says Grič Evenings will feature a score of artists of the highest order and “yet another exciting programme.”

All concerts will be performed at Klovićevi Dvori Gallery, except on July 12, when the Croatian public broadcaster’s Jazz Orchestra will play at Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall with famous sax players Victor Goines, Branford Marsalis, Rosario Giuliani, Perica Sambeat, and Krzysztof Urbanski.

The 37th Grič Evenings are being held in cooperation with the Italian Culture Institute from Zagreb and the Polish and Hungarian embassies, and with the support of the Zagreb Tourist Board, the Ministry of Culture, and the City of Zagreb.
