KISSA is a new fashion brand of swimwear inspired by the beauty of the Croatian islands.
At this year’s Monte Carlo Fashion Week, which is one of the most prestigious fashion events in the world, new collections for the 2019 summer season were presented. About 30 luxury brands took part in the event, including KISSA, a new fashion brand of swimwear. The event attracted many influencers and VIP guests, such as Flavio Briatore, Mika Hakkinen, Constanza Cavalli Etro and many others.
An interesting link between the KISSA brand and Croatia is the fact that the owner of the brand, Martina Čorak, draws her roots from the Croatian island of Pag, which is the reason why she took the ancient name for the island of Pag as an inspiration for the name of her brand. Also, during the visual identity design process, the textures of Croatian beach cobblestones and the landscapes of the most beautiful Croatian destinations were used as an inspiration. Furthermore, individual models of swimwear are named after the various Croatian islands, such as Vis, Brijuni, and others.
Martina Čorak, who lives and works in Milan in Italy, focuses her feminine and self-confident designs on modern women. She pays particular attention to the functional details of her swimwear designs. Each model of KISSA swimwear has been designed with the highest attention to detail so that women are able to enjoy maximum comfort while wearing them. The slogan of the KISSA fashion brand is “Find your space under the sun doing something that you love.”
The visual identity and design of the brand have been created by Anja Zambelli Čolak from Rijeka, who identified the essence of the summer beauty and incorporated it into the character of the new fashion brand.
KISSA makes its products in Italy where the tradition of making fashionable clothing items is intertwined with attention paid to each and every detail. “The same attention to detail has been applied to the brand’s visual identity as well,” says Anja Zambelli Čolak.
KISSA aims to become a world-renowned fashion brand in the next couple of years. Given the connection with Croatia, it may become an excellent ambassador for Croatian tourism.
