Moving with the times on June 12, 2017, TCN is delighted to enter the vlogging era with our own YouTube channel. We start by taking a tour of Split through the eyes of talented street style photographer, Sonja Dvornik.
Life used to be simpler. Until recently, I was a one-man blogger, with all the ideas, deadlines and issues solely mine to deal with.
Then came expansion, and with it more issues (for sure), deadlines and ideas in their thousands.
One of the joys of having a talented, enthusiastic and creative team is that they take you to places you would not necessarily go on your own, but if you trust them a little and let them follow their ideas, new things start to happen.
It is entirely by coincidence – honestly – that the majority of TCN writers today are female and under 30, just one of those things happened, and for sure, they are a different breed of human than this crusty old fart.
Paul, what about this, how about that, why don’t we try…
“We need to start vlogging,” they bullied me one night over teambuilding beers. “Just leave it to us, you won’t have to do a thing.”
And so I gave my consent. Off they went to plan and to source material. And today the first results of this new TCN initiative, about which I know very little.
Am very grateful to renowned Split street style photographer Sonja Dvornik for agreeing to be our first victim, as well as spending a considerable amount of her precious time to show us her Split.
Thanks to the TCN bullies, Tash Pericic and Daniela Rogulj, for taking us down this route, to Dino Vucic for filming, and to Miranda Milicic Bradbury for editing the material into the finished version.
