Accor continues to expand its portfolio in Croatia and the entire region. Thanks to the partnership with Split Peninsula Properties d.o.o and the development team of MPPD d.o.o, the group will place another top brand in its favorite tourist destination – the city of Split. The new Hotel Mövenpick Split will have 156 excellent and comfortable rooms with sea views, two restaurants, and a spa, as well as an innovative workspace and conference facility. The hotel will also have 110 underground and above-ground parking spaces and many charging stations for electric vehicles. The brightest pearls of the Mövenpick Hotel Split will be the unique rooftop restaurant, lounge area, and terrace with an infinity pool. As the first such space in Split and Dalmatia, this complex will undoubtedly become a favorite place for guests who want to enjoy the most delicious Mediterranean food in a relaxed atmosphere with top design. It is a truly versatile destination available at any time that will delight hotel guests and domestic guests, and tourists who come to Split. Mövenpick Split will open its doors in the second quarter of 2023 on Žnjan beach, one of the most famous locations in Split.

“We are delighted to be able to present another hotel in one of the most prestigious locations in Dalmatia and thus strengthen our portfolio in the segment of leisure facilities in the region. Mövenpick continues to record strong growth throughout Eastern Europe thanks to the continuous expansion of its resort offerings and top leisure facilities. Furthermore, the unique story and magnificent design of the Mövenpick Split complex will invite guests to relax and enjoy in a perfect Mediterranean location. Accor hotels are known for their superior holiday experience and personal approach to each guest, and we look forward to our guests in 2023,” said Dilek Sezer, Accor Group Development Director for Southeast Europe.

The new Mövenpick Split hotel project was designed by the local award-winning architect Alan Pleština from the Pulsar Arhitektura studio in collaboration with Accor’s design and technical services team. Pleština is the author of some of the most successful projects implemented in Croatia, including projects for the Arena shopping center complex and the Arena Zagreb sports hall, which have won international design awards. The hotel is modern but at the same time exudes luxury and affordability and is a perfect design inspired by the lively space of Split’s Pazar.

When it comes to roof design, Mövenpick Split has joined forces with internationally renowned and award-winning interior designer Kristina Zanić from Dubai, who has gained experience in creating spaces in leading tourist destinations around the world. Kristina and her team have created an all-day experience with an emphasis on design, in which the hotel will be able to offer the best of healthy Mediterranean cuisine. Rich colors from the coast and inspiration drawn from the famous Dalmatian sunset are the main features of the restaurant and bar, which is unique in the region. There is no doubt that this will become an “IT” place in Split in the years ahead.
