Great new music festival on island Brač
Tourist season is far from over in Bol on island Brač. After the sun and sea seeking guests, this Croatian tourist destination will welcome lovers of -great Soul and Jazz music with the first ever edition of Bol Soul Festival. It will take place in Bol, at the Elaphusa Hotel complex on October 7-14,2015.
Idea for this festival came from the soul scene legends Ian Dewhirst and Carl Webster. Dewhirst is know as a very influential DJ who launched many global superstars including Pet Shop Boys and Soft Cell, and he still creates music trends with his Starpoint radio station. This music duo discovered Bol by accident during their private holiday, and it didn’t take them long to realize that it would be a perfect location for their new festival.
For the first time, Dewhirst and Webster will bring many established as well as up and coming soul and jazz musicians including Jarrod Lawson, Tracy Hamlin ad Rose Vincent. They will be accompanied by more than 20 soul DJs from the US, UK and Germany, so Bol will definitely be turned into one big stage for a whole week.
