Grand opening of the largest casino, hotel and entertainment complex in Zagreb (and Croatia) was held last night.
Hotel & Grand Casino Admiral has ceremonially opened at the location of the former department store Nama in Vrbani neighbourhood last night on October 13, reports Poslovni.hr on October 14, 2017. The investor of this project is a Croatian company Interigre, which is part of Austrian concern Novomatic.
The famous Formula 1 driver from Austria Niki Lauda was an honorary guest at the last night’s opening ceremony, which was also attended by many other famous guests.
“We cannot say much about the investment, except that it was not small, because apart from the large casino and hotel, the complex also features a restaurant, cafe, fitness centre, bar and other facilities that are open to everyone, not just to hotel guests”, says marketing manager of the hotel and entire complex Denis Begović.
Begović also points out that the hotel has been opened since the beginning of September after the complete reconstruction of the former Nama department store was finished, where everything was built from scratch except the supporting walls. This four-star hotel has 45 rooms and four conference halls to host business meetings and conventions.
“In its first month, the hotel was always nearly full, and we had plenty of business groups, which is something we expect and look forward to in the future as well”, says Begović.
The company Interigre is the largest concessionaire in the Croatian market for gambling activities with more than a thousand employees in automated clubs, casinos, betting shops and bars.
