Video art festival called Lovely Days began today in the town of Bol on island Brač.
Until the 22nd of August both Croatian and international curators will present screenings of video programmes, introduce artists and ingage in discussions with the public. As the organisers say, venues chosen for this particular art event are very different from galleries and museums hence creating the perfect atmosphere for open dialogue.
Renata Poljak, director and founder of Lovely Days stated that the main idea behind the event was to familiarize broad audiences with contemporary art and to entice curiosity.
Curators include Alen Munitić director of the Mediterranean Film Festival in Split, Aily Nash and Andrew Norman Wilson from New York, Bruce Allan and Ben Eastop from the UK and many others
