His wife gives him the highest possible marks.

After a defeat in the second round of this year’s Wimbledon’s tennis tournament, the best Croatian tennis player Marin Čilić is spending time with his wife on the Adriatic coast where, although the schools are closed for the summer holidays, they returned to a classroom, with Kristina taking over the role of a teacher, reports Gloria on July 19, 2018.

Čilić quickly finished his Wimbledon quest this year, after losing to Guido Pella from Argentina who defeated him in the second round of the Grand Slam tournament. However, he did not mourn for long the fact that he was not able to reach the final like last year. Instead, he decided to go for a vacation with wife Kristina.

The couple, who married three months ago, enjoyed a visit to the Vrnik island, the only inhabited island in the Korčula archipelago, where they visited the Vrnik Arts Club art gallery. opened in a school which has been abandoned for the last fifty years. In the old school, lawyer Pero Lozica opened a gallery, a souvenir shop, a restaurant, as well as a museum classroom.

It was the classroom which proved to be the most interesting part of the island for Marin and Kristina. They immediately assigned the roles – he sat down at the desk, while she stood in front of the blackboard. Their photo delighted his numerous fans, and Marin said in the comments that, while in school, his favourite subject was maths, adding that Kristina was indeed the most beautiful teacher. Of course, Marin received the best possible marks and also tried to write with a quill.

After a ten-year relationship, Marin and Kristina married this April in the idyllic church of St Nikolas in Cavtat. The celebrations continued at the Revelin fortress in Dubrovnik. Afterward, they went on a mini two-day honeymoon in Istanbul.
