Support for the Croatia national team in the World Cup comes all the way from China.
It’s no surprise that the Croatia national team has supporters all over the world. Just yesterday, we wrote about a Japanese tourist showing their support for Croatia… in Serbia! And this video has probably made its way across your Facebook feed at least once since the World Cup began.
Though it’s not totally uncommon to find Croatia fans in strange places, international support from anywhere in the world makes us giddy, and just yesterday, Croatia admirers in China did just that.
The Facebook page of Rimac Automobili shared a video with greetings from their leading shareholder in Asia – the Camel Group.
The status reads:
“Rimac and Camel Joint Venture team in China is getting bigger. Here’s them sending regards to the Croatian National Football Team wishing them best of luck in the next round of the World Cup – ‘Naprijed Hrvatska do Ampiona!’ #squadgoals #worldcup”
In the video, you can even see the Chinese team learning how to sing the well-known Croatian fan song “Srce Vatreno”.
Croatia plays Iceland in Rostov-on-Don tonight at 20:00 CET, and though we’ve already secured our place in the round of 16, we will welcome all the support we can get!
