Movie Crews Return to Dubrovnik for the Filming of Alexandra

Shooting begins on January 24, 2016

After the wildly popular series Game of Thrones, Croatia’s most renowned tourist destination Dubrovnik will once again become the backdrop of another epic film series. As reported by Star Life Pictures on January 4, 2016, they are about to commence shooting of their latest project Alexandra on January 24, 2016, co-production with the participation of crew members from the US, India, UK, Slovenia Serbia and of course, Croatia. 

Alexandra is set in Ancient Greece and it follows the travels of a young Spartan princess Alexandra and her fight against evil forces. Star Life Pictures has announced that this mini series will break new grounds in terms of special effects so it will be interesting to see the end product, but we do hope they don’t completely change the stunning Dubrovnik view.
