ZAGREB, May 5, 2018 – The Catholic University of Croatia on Saturday opened its doors to visitors in an effort to promote its programmes.
The Zagreb-based university consists of the five departments: History, Psychology, Sociology, Communication Sciences and Nursing as well as Theology.
According to an invitation included in a press release issued by the university’s public relations office, visitors can take part in workshops, lectures, quizzes, other mind sports and activities organised by the departments during today’s Open Day.
The university writes on its web site that it “strives for scientific excellence and stays up-to-date with the latest trends in science.”
“We pay special attention to both the scientific and Christian values that are embedded in the foundations of civilisation: respect for human dignity, personal growth, search for truth, desire for freedom and openness to others and those who are different from us. These are the very values on which first universities were built within the embrace of the Church with the aim to educate new generations, who will strive for knowledge and truth in the spirit of Christianity.”
