The centre of Rijeka will be a lot livelier in the run up to Christmas this year.
Rijeka will this year have an opportunity to experience a real Christmas Fairytale – a special Advent program for the Christmas and holiday season which will be organized at the Tower Centre Rijeka. Starting on November 21 and finishing on January 10, the winter entertainment centre for children and adults will open its doors. The Christmas Fairytale will also be the longest event which will be held in the city in the coming holiday season, reports Novi List on November 7, 2015.
“During a total of 49 days, the visitors will be able to enjoy a magical Christmas atmosphere, offered by an indoor skating rink with a special ice course, children’s entertainment area, the village of Santa Claus, the Sweet Square, a football zone, Christmas Fair, as well as rich and delicious gastronomic offerings and numerous entertainment and creative programs for children and adults, such as dance and art workshops, and many other additional surprises”, said the representatives of the organizers, Siniša Grgantov, director of Click Marketing, and Tea Višo, head of marketing of Tower Centre Rijeka.
The entrance and participation in creative workshops will be free for all participants, as well as the fun zone for children up to 4 years of age. For other parts of the program, the prices are still being determined. Christmas Fairytale area will have the same opening hours as the Tower itself.
For the purpose of this event, the Tower Centre has recently announced a public call seeking a Santa Claus. The organizers have received about 40 applications from all over Croatia, and they are currently selecting the lucky candidate who will bring joy to children from the start to the finish of the fairytale.
