July 17, 2018 — Are you on a boat?
Do you want to visit Croatia’s seaside national or nature parks?
Good news: You won’t need to go ashore!
Croatia’s nautical tourists won’t have to drop their tender boats and touch land to buy tickets for some of the country’s gorgeous coastal parks, such as Kornati.
Tickets to stunning Dalmatian vistas such as Telašćica and Lastovo are now a click away via the Parks of Croatia Webshop.
The Ministry of Environment and Energy announced the new program this week, hoping to lower administrative costs while increasing the visibility and ease of visiting the parks.
The program offers three- and seven-day tickets to two or four of the coast’s parks. It’s the first time the Ministry is offering multi-day and multi-park tickets.
Tickets are available for Kornati National Park, Telašćica Nature Park, Miljet National Park and Lastovo National Park. Other parks, unfortunately, still require touching land to buy tickets (for now).
The new offer is part of a larger program the Ministry of Environment and Energy launched in 2012 alongside the United Nations Development Programme, investing 30 million kuna in national and nature parks.
