Martimex now offers luxury novelties of famous global niche brands, 22 of them
Admirers of fine and exclusive perfumeries and so-called niche scents could find their favourite perfumes in the capital in only several stores, some of them quite small and cramped. The first Croatian perfumery chain Martimex has now, in their renovated store on Ban Josip Jelačić Square, decided to offer new and until now unavailable luxury novelties of famous global niche brands, 22 of them. These scents can only be found in Croatia in the mentioned store stretching for 200 square metres, renovated in modern style, combining gold and black colours which dominate the world of niche perfumes.
These perfumes have a soul and their purity and beauty thrill all those with refined taste. The perfume veteran and giant, the Martimex chain, recently celebrated 25 years of successful business, demonstrating with this move they firmly hold the position of a regional player in the beauty industry. Among the famous scent names here are Memo Paris, the work of spouses Clara and John Molloy, inciting memories of their travels, chosen places full of history and symbolism.
There are also the scents of Ramón Monegal, the official perfumer of the Spanish royal family, whose main inspiration is literature, from bountiful prose to condensed poetry. He turns words into notes, phrases into accords, stories into compositions and the ink, the component of all events, into a perfume. Also present is the renowned brand Maison Francis Kurkdjian, which came to fame by working for Jean-Paul Gaultier, then Jovoy, the synonym for the largest niche perfumery in Europe. For the picky, there is the Initio brand which offers the option to mix scents, to create your own unique perfume. One thing is certain, Zagreb (or at least its centre) now smells better.
