Support Croatia’s island communities today on the beautiful Dalmatian island of Žirje.
As Morski writes on the 19th of August, 2018, this, the sixth such festival to be held on the island in the area of Šibenik, aims to foster the further development of island production, the preservation of island traditions and the autochthonous products from Croatia’s islands, as well as the branding of island-originated products through the prestigious “Croatian island product” (Hrvatski otočni proizvod) label.
A free shuttle service from the City of Šibenik on the mainland to the island of Žirje has been organised for all those who wish to visit the festival today.
The departure of the “Dida Frane” boat from Šibenik waterfront (Mulo Krke) to Žirje is at 17:00 this evening, returning back from Žirje at 23:00.
In addition, free transport from the “Spužvar” boat from the nearby island of Krapanj has been organised from 13:40, which will be in Zablaće at 14:30 and then Zlarin at 15:30, returning from the island of Žirje via the same route at 23:30.
