ZAGREB, May 22, 2018 – The 16th Tabor Film Festival will be held at Veliki Tabor castle on July 5-8 and organisers expect the best shorts.
Over 1,000 films from over 80 countries have been submitted and the international competition selection is still not over so that the latest films can be included in the programme, the festival’s artistic director Ivan Ramljak has said.
The festival will again include Sound & Vision, a programme linking film and live music, the Zagorje Special programme, with a screening of “Castle”, a film shot during the 4th Tabor Film Festival 12 years ago, as well as retrospectives of Split-based director Boris Poljak and Belgrade-based director Stefan Ivančić.
About 30 concerts will take place on five stages, including by Pips, Chips & Videoclips, Zoran Predin, and Svemirko. There will also be a theatre performance, “Hoerspiel”.
