After 15 years of creating cult sushi enthusiasts in their Zagreb location, Dubrovnik has finally been graced with the presence of Takenoko.
Situated in one of the most beautiful locations Dubrovnik has to offer, Takenoko presents a view of the entire harbor, the famous city walls, and island Lokrum. Boasting a 200 meter interior and a 300 meter terrace, we know where you’ll be sitting for your next meal.

Chef Mario Starman has prepared a special menu for this Takenoko, introducing oysters, clams, fresh fish, and of course tuna, cooking up a menu true to Japanese cuisine with an Adriatic twist. To pair perfectly with your meal, Takenoko has star cocktail maker James Miller who has crafted an especially delicious cocktail menu, infusing ingredients such as lavender and rosemary to their drinks (Mediterranean influence, much?).

With Dubrovnik’s ever booming tourist industry and culinary prowess, we are sure to see Takenoko soar this summer. All we can say? It’s about time!
Takenoko is located on Hvarska 2, in the center of the old town.
