Fancy perfecting your diving skills? Head to Pazin!
We don’t really need reminding that the Adriatic is stunning, but just what is it like to dive in and experience it from the bottom up, as it were? Head to Pazin and take a look into the blue, literally.
As Morski writes on the 31st of May, 2018, on the occasion of the day of the City of Pazin, ”View into the Blue” (Pogled u Plavo) will be present at Trg Slobode in Pazin on June the 1st and June the 2nd, 2018, organised by the City of Pazin in cooperation with Diving Network from Istria, in order to promote diving.
So far, this project has linked diving and the beauty of the Adriatic closer together both inside and outside of Croatia, and is currently the only Croatian diving project that brings together safety in diving, promotion, education, and ecology in a unique and innovative manner, including an underwater photo exhibition.
In addition to the rich program of Pazin’s celebrations, the City of Pazin has enabled the opportunity of free diving tests equipped with full diving equipment, coupled with the expert supervision of professional diving instructors.
The project’s goal in Pazin is to include young people in promotional, ecological and educational programs, as well as the promotion of Croatia as a diving and tourist destination.
All interested visitors will have a unique opportunity to try diving with full diving equipment and with expert supervision of a diving instructor for two days, beginning on Friday, June the 1st, 2018, from 10:00 to 24:00, the free trial dives are set to continue the following day from 10:00 to 18:00. A 10 meter pool will be mounted on Trg Slobode for the occasion.
Visitors will also have the chance to visit the underwater exhibition of photographs of the well-known Croatian underwater photographer Marjan Radović.
This unusual event takes place under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia.
