Winter Weather Causing Traffic Problems in Parts of Croatia

ZAGREB, February 7, 2018 – Heavy snow and sleet in the regions of Gorski Kotar and Lika and Croatia’s northwest made traffic more difficult in those regions on Wednesday morning.

The heaviest snowfall was reported in towns in the central mountainous regions of Lika and Gorski Kotar: Otočac, Gospić and Delnice.

The northern and central Croatian coast was coping with heavy rainfall on Wednesday morning.

Some roads were closed for trucks and cargo vehicles.
