A prank-free Christmas for Split’s pranksters.
Duje Duplančić and Marin Jurašin, a pair of 19-year-olds, are the first pranksters in Split and their role model is Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, a Russian-American YouTube star which Croatians first met recently when he made a spectacle out of former Prime Minister Sanader’s exit from prison, when he jumped on top of his car. Duje and Marin claim that they were the first in Split to start filming their pranks. Although that might be difficult to prove, it is certain that they were the first pranksters in Split who ended up in court due to their efforts, reports Dalmatinski Portal on December 25, 2015.
“We do not want to talk about it too much. We filmed a prank in which we were masked and carried a bat, so they reported us for carrying weapons. The court did not convict us, but we had to remove the video from YouTube”, Duplančić said.
Duje and Marin met in high school, where there exchanged their prankster ideas, and a little more than a year ago they started recording videos which they upload to YouTube. However, for this Christmas, they decided to make a different kind of video. Instead of doing pranks, they walked the street of Split and distributed gifts to those who do not have anyone else to wish them a Merry Christmas.
