As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Aminess Hotels & Resorts, the fastest growing Croatian tourism company, has officially become a member of UN Global Compact. The body is the world’s largest initiative for sustainable and responsible business.
This membership confirms the commitment Aminess has when it comes to following high standards in the field of human rights, labour, environmental protection and the fight against corruption. All of that has paid off now that Aminess is an official member of UN Global Compact, an international network of companies that actively contribute to sustainable development.
“By becoming a member of this organisation, Aminess is opening the doors to new opportunities for the exchange of knowledge, innovation and best practices in sustainable business. Access to the education of top experts and participation in ESG accelerators will allow us to further improve our strategies and goals in the field of environmental, social and corporate responsibility. With this step, Aminess is actively building a corporate culture based on the principles of sustainable development,” emphasised the head of sustainability at Aminess, Lana Schertzer.
Aminess otherwise continuously invests in sustainable development, care for its employees and the local communities in which its facilities are located. The company monitors global ESG trends and actively works to integrate sustainable practices into business strategies, which affects ESG rating indices and positioning.
A responsible environmental management system has been established across all Aminess hotels and campsites according to the global standards ISO 14001 and ISO5001.
