ZAGREB, May 7, 2018 – A total of 20,885 new cars were sold in Croatia in the first four months of 2018, 21.7% more on the year, including 7,046 in April, up 12.2% on the year, according to data from the Promocija Plus market research company.
Volkswagen sold the highest number of new vehicles (2,649), followed by Opel (2,339), Skoda (2,109), Renault (2,014) and Suzuki (1,503).
Croatia is following the European trend of a decline in diesel cars.
In the first four months of 2018, 11,307 petrol and 9,717 diesel cars were sold, as well as six electric and 272 hybrid cars.
