New passenger terminal was officially opened yesterday (if you haven’t already, you can read about it here), but it won’t see its first passengers until later this month, March 28, to be more precise.

According to Ex Yu Aviation article from March 22, one of the first commercial flights will be Belgrade – Zagreb, and an Airbus A330-200 aircraft will be used for the occasion.

The aircraft features 254 seats, which is four times bigger than the regular ATR72 turboprop used on that route, which has 66 seats, so the booking systems have been adjusted accordingly, in order to enable more passengers to buy tickets.
