As Poslovni Dnevnik/Marta Duic writes, Nestle, as one of the world’s leading and well known companies in the food industry, established the Southern and Eastern European Market (SEEM) and appointed Alessandro Zanelli as its market leader this January.

Countries belonging to this new market are Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Kosovo, Ukraine and Moldova.

The decision was made as part of the company’s transformation and represents an opportunity to achieve wider reach and growth in all categories, developing people and five new centres in the capital cities of those new countries – Bucharest, Sofia, Zagreb, Belgrade and Kiev. The newly formed market will include about 8,000 people and five new factories.

“This transformation allows for the faster recognition of business opportunities and profitable growth. With this brand new market structure, we will be able to achieve the most ambitious goals and results and position ourselves at the top of all categories, across all of these territories. We want to strengthen our organisation, to make it more agile and more focused on people and our consumers,” explained Alessandro Zanelli, the head of this new Nestle narket.

It’s worth mentioning that Alessandro Zanelli is also poisitoned to perform the function of market manager of Nestle Ukraine and Moldova, and has, as stated, since been appointed as the head of the newly established Nestle SEEM market, where he will directly lead the markets of Ukraine and Moldova, based in the Ukrainian capital city of Kiev.
