Croatian Airport Trends, as Summer Capacity up 16% for 2016

An interesting report from Anna.Aero on April 29, 2016 on trends and statistics in Croatia’s statistics.

If there are any doubts about the trends in Croatia’s booming airports, an interesting report by aviation website Anna.Aero shows most of the arrows heading in one direction. You can read the full report and analysis on their website here, but some useful graphs summarise the highlights rather well.

Airport traffic in the last 12 years… 

 Croatia Airlines is still top dog, but easyJet is making great inroads into the market, and the importance of the Scandinavian market can be seen. 

And perhaps the most interesting graph, as Croatia hopes for a bumper season – the increase of capacity in international markets for this year, an impressive 16% overall for the first week of August, and only one country is down – Italy.
