Croatian Chamber of Commerce to Open Office in Belgrade

ZAGREB, April 16, 2018 – The Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) will formally open its office in Belgrade on April 18, the HGK announced on Monday.

The ceremony will be attended by the speakers of the Croatian Parliament and the Serbian National Assembly, Gordan Jandroković and Maja Gojković, the presidents of the HGK and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Luka Burilović and Marko Čadez, and senior officials and guests from the two countries.

The HGK first opened its Belgrade office in 2001, but closed it in 2013, when its activities were assumed by the Croatian Business Club.

About 200 Croatian companies are currently operating in Serbia. With 750 million euro of investment, Serbia is the fourth most important country for Croatian investors.

According to the latest information, Serbia’s trade surplus with Croatia is 74.4 million euro.
