As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the Croatian company Fonoa was the first in the entire world to develop a fully integrated system for taxation of global transactions.

Among the users of their services are numerous giant global digital platforms such as Uber, Dell, Netflix, Lenovo, Bolt, Glovo, Zoom, Snapchat and many others. For the third year in a row, the Croatian company Fonoa’s innovative solution and constant growth have been recognised the by experts at Sifted, a portal that closely follows the European startup community and is supported by the Financial Times (FT).

croatian company fonoa recognised for three consecutive years

Fonoa is the only Croatian company ever to be included in the selection of the most promising European and Israeli 100 B2B SaaS startups by Sifted for an impressive three years in a row.

“This is absolutely fantastic news for us. We’re unique in what we do, our product facilitates business for some of the largest companies in the world and is very well received and rated by clients. As much as the opinion of our clients is important to us, recognition from portals like Sifted are equally important. Their team puts a lot of effort into creating that list, and they have a great overview of everything happening in the SaaS market. I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire Fonoa team that enables us to achieve this level of excellence in our work,” said Davor Tremac, director and co-founder of the promising domestic startup.

sifted predicts unicorns

With its list of Rising 100 B2B SaaS startups, Sifted predicts which startup will potentially become the next unicorn in Europe and Israel. Their analysis is conducted annually and is based on several key metrics, including company financials, the strength of its ownership structure, product differentiation, growth and market potential. This year’s list includes companies from 19 countries and 34 cities that are supported by more than 860 investors, business angels and accelerators.

The Croatian company Fonoa’s teams currently number more than 120 people in more than 20 countries with offices in Zagreb, Dublin, London and Atlanta. In a mere four year period, Fonoa has successfully collected 86 million US dollars of investment from venture capital funds, which seems them rank at the very top of the list of Croatian companies in terms of capital raised. They’re currently focused on expanding their Zagreb office.
