Croatian Economy Minister to Visit Iran

ZAGREB, May 5, 2018 – Croatia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Martina Dalić will pay an official visit to Iran on 5-9 May, at the invitation of her Iranian counterpart Masoud Karbasian, Croatia’s economy ministry stated on Friday.

During her stay in the Asian country, the Croatian official will attend the opening ceremony of an international exhibition of oil and gas “Iran Oil Show 2018” and take part in an Iranian-Croatian business forum that will take place at the Iranian Chamber of Commerce.

In 2017, trade between Croatia and Iran reached 58 million euro, according to the data provided by the Croatian national statistical office. Croatia’s exports totalled 5.3 million euro, a rise of 33.6% in comparison to 2016, whereas imports from Iran soared to 52.8 million euro.
