February the 28th, 2024 – The Croatian Infobip company has been present at the largest mobile tech fair, MWC in Barcelona, where they have been presenting their remarkable products.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the Croatian Infobip enterprise is the most globally connected cloud communication platform. It has yet again been present at the world’s largest mobile technology fair, MWC in Barcelona, showcasing a number of its impressive novelties and technologies related to the telecommunications industry.
At the Infobip booth in Barcelona, this highly respected domestic company will demonstrate how Rich Communication Services (RCS) Business Messaging works, as well as the latest GenAI solutions it is currently working on.
Infobip’s RCS Business Messaging service
The global communications platform’s new service, RCS Business Messaging, enables mobile operators and businesses to engage with their end users and create memorable experiences through messaging. Some of the advantages of RCS Business Messaging are verified senders, making great first impressions, clicks for easy replies and many more detailed metrics. By introducing this innovative solution, the Croatian Infobip company actively encourages the growth of the entire messaging ecosystem and increases the reach of RBM (Rich Business Messaging). According to analyst firm Juniper, RBM usage will grow from just under one billion users in 2023 to more than two billion by the time we reach the year 2028. Moreover, Juniper expects RBM traffic to increase by 350% over the next five years alone.
RCS technology, the so-called successor to SMS, allows users to send everything from text, links, photos, music and video clips within one single message. RCS should soon be integrated into all smart phones in the world.
The latest GenAI solutions
In a world increasingly defined by the transformation of artificial intelligence (AI), for better or worse, companies can accelerate their growth through customised solutions. The Croatian Infobip enables its users to unleash this potential through a GenAI adoption and innovation strategy.
At MWC, Infobip presented the latest projects supported by generative AI that it has been working on lately. One such solution is SuperfoodChef-AI by Coolinarika, the first digital product in the food industry in Croatia’s entire immediate region. It encourages healthy habits, and was created in collaboration with another massive Croatian company – Podravka. This advanced digital assistant is integrated into Coolinarika, a mobile and web application (app) owned by Podravka, which has over 700,000 monthly users and is the largest culinary platform in all of Croatia.
Infobip also presented the integration of GenAI solutions through Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI technology, which allows companies to use the latest GenAI capabilities to improve their user experience like never before.
“For many years, Infobip has been present at the world’s largest telecom and mobile industry fair here in Barcelona, attended by as many as 90,000 visitors. It’s great to be part of this exciting atmosphere and to be able to present our new services, ideas and plans for the future live to our clients. This tech fair in Barcelona is the most lucrative global stage at which we can show off our novelties and innovations such as RCS Business Messaging or the latest GenAI solutions we’re currently working on,” stated Silvio Kutić, CEO and co-founder of Infobip.
At the MWC conference, Infobip was nominated and one of the finalists of the 29th Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO), widely respected awards across the telecommunications industry. As part of those awards, the GSMA launched the Open Gateway Challenge, which aims to reward companies that use Camara APIs to create commercial cloud-based services. Infobip’s nomination follows the company’s partnership with three mobile operators – Claro, TIM Brasil and Vivo (Telefonica Brazil), to launch the first network APIs in Brazil compliant with the Camara standard as part of the GSMA Open Gateway initiative.
