July the 4th, 2023 – The much loved Croatian Pipi drink has broken into the Austrian market, and Germany and Switzerland are next.
As Mladen Miletic/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, as was announced back at the beginning of the year, the legendary Croatian Pipi drink has now officially made a step out onto international markets. Pipi opened the doors of the markets of the USA, Australia, China and Singapore, and also strengthened their position here in the region.
Austria is the latest Pipi host
This domestic company’s products can also now be found in the Austrian SPAR, one of the largest retail chains in all of Europe, where they are positioned as an independent brand of their own.
A big deal for Croatian products on the global stage
Director of Pipi Bevarages Management Luka Diel-Zadro pointed out that this is a big deal not only for the company, but also for the reputation of Croatian products on the international market. The Austrian market is not the only novelty when it comes to this company’s business operations either, because under the already signed contract with the Pipi distributor, in 2023, Croatian Pipi drinks will also enter the markets of Germany and Switzerland.
Foreign markets continue to be a target
“For the last six years, we as a company have worked intensively on strengthening both our brand and how we’re seen in retail, and this is the result we were sure would come. We remain just as ambitious towards foreign markets as we always have been and we’renow working intensively on entering even more new ones”, concluded Diel-Zadro.
