Croatian innovator Ivan Mrvoš already conquered Croatia and neighbouring countries, and on March 9, 2016, his brand new smart bench model Steora was installed in front of the Eu Parliament building in Strasbourg. Mrvoš was invited to the EU Parliament by the Croatian MEP Tonino Picula.
Unlike his first model, Steora bench now also offers wireless mobile phone charging along with the standard Wi-Fi spot. To charge your phone, now you only have to place it on the bench
“New model has a water cooling system as well as an ideal air purifying system, and each one is equipped with an internet module. We are currently completing some orders in Croatia and neighbouring countries so I am thrilled for this opportunity to present my work in the EU Parliament” Mrvoš said.
“I invited Ivan because the EU Parliament is a place where you come to lobby and push various special projects; I don’t think there’s a better stage to present your innovative product than the EU parliament” Tonino Picula commented.
He also added that the EU is a large market with 510 million consumers, and presentation before the EU institutions, especially the EU Parliament as the most important one among them, gives people with great ideas an opportunity to create interest not just of the people passing by of but the entire business community.
“This will not be just a one-time exhibition, this valuable patent will get its deserved added promotion and I hope this bench will become a permanent legacy of the European Parliament” Picula concluded.
